Welcome...
Nearly two dozen lighthouses dot the craggy coast of Washington state, and visiting one can make for a great day-trip. Whether it's a charming light on the shores of Puget Sound or a towering beacon on the Pacific coast, a visit to one of these historic structures is a great way to explore Washington's maritime heritage.
Each lighthouse profiled on this site includes travel directions, my own photos, and a bit of historical information. Many of Washington's lights are in serene secluded locations and have breathtaking mountainous backdrops. If you get the opportunity to visit one of these beacons I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I have.
